Recent changes in regulations by US Homeland Security have stated that expandable batons can no longer be sent via US mail. We must use now UPS, which has drastically increased our shipping costs.
Rather than bury these costs by artifically making prices higher, we chose to bring our shipping rates more in line with what our costs are. Actually, our costs are actually higher than this- but we are committed to continuing to bringing you the lowest possible prices on the highest quality products on the market. If you think this a lot, we invite you to look at our competitors stores and see what they're charging. We are confident you will see either one of 2 things. 1. Higher prices on the products or 2. Lower prices and no mention of shipping costs until you are checking out... at which point you'll pay noticably more than the difference.
